Smile and have fun!
We have no strict policy about what belts can or cannot attend certain classes. If you have any questions about finding the appropriate class for you, please contact us.
Pre Class:
Designed especially for those new to Shotokan or to karate. The pre-class covers all basic stances, punches, blocks, and kicks.
Beginners Class:
We begin with about 15-20 minutes of stretching. Class covers basic movements, kata (forms), and basic sparring techniques. Students work on refining their stances, punching, blocking, and kicking. Students will begin to learn applications of the skills they are being taught. Also good class for families to participate in together!
Intermediate and Advanced:
Students continue to work on gaining increased flexibility and stamina, and on refining their techniques. Class covers advanced kata, sparring, basic movements, muscle training, and stretching. A knowledge of Japanese commands is recommended.
All Levels:
Classes focus on basic movements, kata, basic sparring techniques, stretching and muscle training.
Private lessons are also available. Contact us for more information.
